Kids Compose Opera

Three years ago I had the chance to know more about a very interesting program for kids. LÓVA, Opera as a vehicle for learning was founded by Mary Ruth McGinn in 2006 in Madrid, Capital of Spain. She had implemented the original program ” Creating Original Opera” in her school in Montgomery Village, a suburb of Washington D.C. since 2001.
But… Are there such programs here in Austin?
By the moment I don’t know any school that implement this program but this city offers a variety of resources to learn about PERFORMING ARTS:
These activities develop abilities as empathy, expressive communication, social interaction, listening, self-identity or problem solving.
